We are pleased to be able to make space available for other organisations operating in the area, for activities from board meetings to staff training days and community events.

We have hosted gatherings ranging from celebration of life events through to workshops and Owner’s Corporation meetings, with reduced rates for community groups.

The CSF room

The most visible room in the centre is the meeting room overlooking the porch. This is named the CSF room after the Victorian Government Community Support Fund.

The CSF room has a separate entrance on the Acland St side of the porch. It has its own tea making facilities.

The Helen Smith room

On the other side of the corridor is the Helen Smith Room. This has a meeting room, two offices and a tea bay.

Behind the Helen Smith Room there are toilets, including a disabled toilet & shower, and washing machine/dryer facilities for emergencies.

Baxter Hall

Down the main corridor are double doors which then open on to Baxter Hall. Baxter Hall can seat 80+ at tables for a meal or 100+ as an auditorium. There is a piano, and there is a three phase electrical outlet suitable for running lighting for small theatrical productions. It has been used for community events, from use as a polling place, to public seminars and private parties

Adjoining Baxter Hall there is a well equipped kitchen, which as well as providing catering facilities for the hall is used for life skills classes.
