Christ Church Community Centre Quilt Exhibition at the St Kilda Festival

The Christ Church Community Centre’s Quilting Group is preparing for an exhibition to be held in Christ Church during the St Kilda Festival on February 7th and 8th from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Our quilters are madly trying to finish their quilts in time to hang them. Works on display will include mystery quilts made during the last six months and other examples completed since the group began meeting two years ago.

Christ Church Community Centre Seniors Afternoon Tea

As part of the Seniors Festival a musical afternoon tea was held on Wednesday, October 15. Our Christ Church Community Centre volunteers prepared a sumptuous feast of sweet treats and gourmet club sandwiches. The City of Voices performed pieces from their recent musical, ‘An Op Shop Opera’. Both seniors and volunteers enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music and food.
